PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
January 2014 – May 2014 Part time Recruiting Specialist at Techead,
Richmond, VA
Expedite jobs and contractors/candidates into BullHorn software from VMS and administrate on-
boarding materials to contractors as required by Federal, State, Techead and Client processes.
Calculate necessary pay rates and bill rates for assignments. Arrange and coordinate training
materials for on-site classes. Work independently and collaboratively with Back Office team to
ensure that all on-boarding processes are generated quickly and with the highest level of
integrity. Source and search for contractors/candidates as assigned through BullHorn,
CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, Dice and other social media to screen resumes to present the best
candidate to the client.

includes: creating and designing custom framing by introducing mat and frame selections for

Screened/sourced in Taleo application tracking software over 6,000 applications for trade
positions including: Deck Electricians; Deck Electricians/Welders; Painters; Material Support;
and Sheet Fitters. Interviewed, hired, and followed up on pre-employment issues with selected
candidates. In addition attended two carrier fairs and prepared a list of trade schools in Virginia
for future recruiting efforts.
August 2010 – June 2011 Part time Customer Service/Cashier Staples, Richmond, VA
Operate point of sale register for cash, debit, credit, check, gift card and return transactions.
Answer phone calls and aid customers directly or refer them to associates with the more
appropriate skill sets. Assist customers to find solutions for their office supply needs. This
includes recommending alternative selections and offering protection plans for all electronic
devices. While only working on an average of 25 hours a week, during my first month sold more
protection plans in dollar amount than any other cashier.

Developed processes, trained, implemented and administered the new Business Continuity
management software toolkit. This included compiling and writing a business case to purchase
