Prime Inc - June **** til July ****
During my tenure at prime I had many various roles . I began as a Fleet Manager running a fleet consisting over both
team and solo independent operators/ fleet owned trucks . Taking care of all the daily tasks of running a fleet from dispatching
to routing,planning, money management and counseling operators in a variety of areas . I further moved into
Regional/ short haul sales and planning managing a network of shippers and drivers in a new area prime was entering around 2002 .
As that grew into a very large operation I channeled all my focus into load planning the northeast region. In 2007
I was transferred to Pittston, Pa where prime had acquired the facility once belonging to TRL . As we began to
Transition folks from the previous company to the culture at prime,I was asked to stay and act as the liaison and
Manager on site,with primary goals of getting folks accustom to computer functions and primes network of daily tasks .
Over the course of about 3 years I was involved in shop,recruiting,orientation,safety, sales,dispatch operations, off site location management.
Accountable for P/l along with maintaining various records required by the state of Pa as we looked to alter our current facility with a construction project.
During this time I also got more in touch with our very extensive customer base,not only working closely with existing customers but also sourced new ones
that fit our diverse network. My last role was sales coordinator for the northeast,my primary role was planning the state of Pa ( approx 900 loads a week)
but also had accountability to make sure in our every day market that we moved all the trucks In the northeast stretching from Maine to The Virginia state line
Which was around 450 trucks a day involving 2 other sales areas . The time I spent in these areas had me interacting with all levels of upper and middle management with
heavy involvement in Customer start ups,Rate negotiating, problem resolution, equipment management and revenue building .
