WORK EXPERIENCE

Purchasing Specialist

MD - Rancho Dominguez, CA - July 2008 to Present

Forecasting and Purchasing of approx. 95% (approx. 6,500 SKU's) of all inventory items.

Over $ 6.6 million dollars spent annually on company orders, while being cognizant of Company Cash Flow.

In charge of ordering and shipping of goods. Responsible for gathering freight quotes and selecting the

most economical choice.

Overseeing the logistics of Goods. Goods are shipped to multiple warehouse locations including our facilities

in Holland, Italy and Boulder, Co.

Inventory management with duties including stock status reports, periodical inventory counts, creation of

SKU numbers, and management of product in the multiple warehousing locations.

Management of inventory for our Nationally Televised Infomercial through a fulfillment center. Infomercial

has multiple warehouse locations.

Usage of MAS 90 and MAS 200 to create purchase orders, receive purchase orders into the system, and

also was trained as a back up for the Warehouse Clerk position that is in charge of picking sheet printing,

commercial invoices and web orders.

Handling of vendor issues such as returns, damaged items, incorrect items etc.

In charge of making sure all items we sell are on our website with proper pictures and item information.

'Right hand man' of the Vice President of Operations, assisting with whatever tasks are needed.

Some Product Management: seeking out new vendors for items either for better quality or better pricing,

and negotiating pricing. Making sure all logos and necessary company information is accurate when placing

orders.

2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014: Participant in our large tradeshow in Miami where our team built a store for

the conference. Myself and five other employees built the store in 1 days, opened for three days, did over

$147,000 at all four shows, then broke the store down in four hours.

Assists our V.P. and Controller with year end inventory.

Some Graphic Design: have designed multiple items for our clothing line and accessories line.

Accounts Payable/ Asst Warehouse Manager

Metropolitan Hardwood Floors - Seattle, WA - July 2007 to June 2008

Accounts Payable - receiving, processing of all incoming company invoices, with weekly check runs averaging

over $ 100,000.00.

Usage of Sage Business Vision (MAS 90 program) to input invoices and to make all payments.

Performed Accounting duties involving Month End reports, G/L postings and G/L account management.

Microsoft Excel for accurate number-keeping for employee insurance benefits, Monthly Fed Ex shipping

costs, and for company telephone and cell phone usage.

Processing of all expense reports for company owner and sales team members.

Was trained in multiple company facets in order to cover for employees on leave. Initially trained to perform

Purchasing/Receiving duties for a period of one month. After this job was complete, was trained in Accounts
