Project And Research Work

Title: Design and Mathematical Modelling of Memristor and its Analog and

Digital Application.

Supervised By: Dr. Jawar Singh, Associated Professor at Department of

Electronics and Communication Engineering, I.I.I.T.D.M. Jabalpur.

(May 2013- November 2013)

Description: This project involved the Explore the functional characteristics and

Spice modelling of the conventional memristor. And develop applications based

on memristor like digital logic design and analog application of memristor in

Programmable oscillator design.

Title: To Design and Simulated the different architectures of the op-amps using

180 nm CMOS technology.

Supervised By: Dr. Brajesh Pandey, Assistant Professor at Department of

Electronics and Communication Engineering, I.I.I.T.D.M. Jabalpur .

Description: This project aim to design the different architectures of Op-amps

using differential op-amp and Two stage Cascade (Cascade and folded ) op-amp to

Improved the performance of basic two stage op-amp using180nm CMOS

technology and simulated the result on the Hspice / synposys.

Title: Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) Using Single-Channel EEG.

Supervised By: Prof. Puneet Tandon, Professor in Mechanical Engineering

(August 2012- April 2013)

Description: Our goal was to build a brain-computer interface using an AVR

microcontroller that enables a user to record patients brain activity and sleeping

activity. And store the EEG Signal inside a data file.

• Brain waves would be measures using electroencephalography (EEG) to record

microvolt-range potential differences across locations on the user's scalp. Then a

two-stage amplification to amplified the signal using AD620 amplifier and filtering

circuit. ADC functionality of the microcontroller digitize the signal. The opto-

isolated UART sends the ADC digital values over USB to a PC connected to the

microcontroller. The PC runs software written in MATLAB to plot the data and
