As a Safety Coordinator I was hired to develop a workplace that can comply with all
company Take 5, JHA, Hot Work, Confined Space and Track Allocation permits and
procedures. I am in charge of the safety program involving all HRT employees and subs
in a specific corridor. I am responsible for developing a safety culture, assisting,
identifying and evaluating hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace.
Implement company safety and health policies and procedures .Conduct on-site
inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices. I assist in new
employee orientations in both English and Spanish . Maintain confidential safety and
accident information including, workers compensation. Conduct and document complete
safety driver courses for all current and new hires that are assigned company vehicles .

As a scaffold carpenter responsible for helping to build, erect, modify & revise scaffold
for the customer. I Helped to out pulling permits filling out JHA’s and other important
documents to help identify hazardous hazards for the purpose of completing the daily
task in a safe but productive manner. As a safety rep. on call I was in charge of new hire
orientations, active employee refresher courses, fit test updates, fire watch, bottle
watch, hole watch supervisor, entrant and attendant training. System active employee
updates etc. I also joined and participated on company and plant walks a bouts and
P.R.I.D.E. safety audits. I helped to inspect PPE and other hardware for monthly color
code requirements. Inspected Personal Fall arrest systems, safety harnesses lanyards
