Safety (contract)

In this position I covered new construction projects in Ashland and Texas

City. Duties include conducting daily safety inspections/audits, safety

meetings, monthly tool box meetings, as well as interacting with colleagues

and other contractors on safety policy and procedures. I ensure all safety

practices, processes, OSHA and plant rules are met to prevent injuries.

Covering 16 plant locations between Texas and Louisiana including Shell,

Exxon, Valero, Dow Chemical, BP and Motiva. Duties include conducting daily

safety inspections/audits as well as interacting with contractors on safety

policy and procedures. I ensure all safety practices, processes, OSHA and

plant rules are met to prevent injuries.

Working toward providing customer satisfaction with project results,

conducting and documenting investigations of incidents and ensures follow-

up actions to prevent re-occurrences.

In addition to this I work with and provide feedback to Construction

Managers and Owner Representatives to achieve safety goals. I also

implement/manage Personnel Safety Programs to ensure safe execution of

Duties were to oversee beach clean up and included conducting daily safety

inspections/audits as well as interacting with contractors on safety policy

and procedures. I also ensured all safety practices and procedures were met

to prevent injuries.
