INVESTMENT OPTIMIZATION AND PRODUCTIVITY

IMPROVEMENT USING QUICK CHANGE OVER METHODS ON

ASSEMBLY LINES

Project carried out at Robert BOSCH, Bangalore.

This project deals with the minimization of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)

losses and to increase the productivity and to make sure that the output from the system is

increased to ensure investment optimization and save overall time on the production of the

equipment. This project also deals on reducing the Change Over time considerably to make

sure that we have a faster process with decrease in the time loss. In this project we overlook

to reduce the Quick Change Over (QCO) time by standardizing the fixtures to hold the

common rail of a diesel engine for the process of LP pressing.
