Role: Test Engineer

R12 Widgetization of UBS, a Teller Platform designed for the modern tellers to improve their operational

efficiency. The core banking teller front office functions have been widgetized using the canvas technology. About 28

tellers functions have been widgetized which require an end to end functionality testing.

Since this was done on a new technology it demanded a comprehensive set of test cases which covered positive as well

as negative scenarios. The business scenarios included the execution of EOD's too.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the Business Requirements of R12 application

• Designed High level Test scenarios and Test cases

• Peer Review of Test scenarios and Test cases

• Lead the team and executed the functionality of R12 application

• Logged defects, analyzed and tracked the same till closure

project is all about migration to Workday HCM from their existing traditional ERP. Workday is a next generation ERP from

the developers of PeopleSoft which works in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) with SaaS (Software as a Service)

Project 1: Debtx – The Debt Exchange – DXOpen

DebtX marketplace was only accessible to sellers who outsourced the sale process to DebtX's Loan Sale

Advisory group, the primary source of product in the “DebtX” marketplace. DebtX's online platform to enable selling

members to fully direct and manage the loan sale process from start to finish. I was involved in testing the online platform

built on ASP.Net.

Project 2: Debtx – The Debt Exchange – DXSYNDICATE

The basic functionality of Syndicate portal is to get the customers by inviting them to syndicate themselves and

share the loan amount which they are giving to their customers. This portal is installed in the client’s environment and

DebtX traders have no role. The bank uses the system to run their own sale. Syndicate portals are having different

functionality depends on the client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing Functional Requirement Specifications

• Involved in writing and reviewing functional test cases

• Carried out sanity testing for every release.

• Redesigning of regression test cases as per new functionalities.

• Execution of test cases, and tracking defects using Bug Tracker – Bugzilla

Role: Associate Test Engineer

Telstra is an Australian telecommunications and media company. Telstra is the largest provider of both local and

long distance telephone services, mobile services, dialup, wireless, DSL and cable internet access in Australia. Accenture

is handling most of the testing work of Telstra billing system in their major delivery centers are in Chennai. Siebel is used

for frontend and Kenan is used as a backend for Telstra act as a database where the information of customer is stored. On

the basis of information bill generation is done by Kenan. CAT is a combination of System Integration Testing & User

Acceptance Testing.

There are different teams: Usage, Products, Invoice, Finance, Rifdi, and Online Billing.

Modules tested include O2A Order to activate, U2C Usage to Cash, F2R Fault to restoration, Manage Customer Data

and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in manual testing and writing test cases

• Involved in verification process on a regular basis using Test Scenarios.

Go Go In flight Internet access is provided for the users in the US flights. This was introduced for the mobile portal using

iPods and iPhones and in Black Berry PDA’s. The mobile portal was developed in order to increase the pace of using

internet in the flight using mobile devices. This facility is provided only for the US regions. A simulated environment was

setup for this application to be tested.

Responsibilities:

• Getting functional requirements from the clients through calls.

• Generation of the test cases for testing the functional features, Generated the test defect and test reports, etc.

• Used QC 10.0, Jira as the Bug tracking tools.

NuViewHR is a comprehensive, web native HR management solution that efficiently administers the company HR &

Benefit programs, streamlines it Recruiting process, helps it to train and develop it's workforce for promotion and growth,

streamlines it current HR practices, employee communications.

Manager Self Service (MSS), Candidate Self Service (CSS), workflows, and notifications. Introduction of ESS, MSS, and

CSS in the application reduces the paper based transactions and minimizes transaction time.

Project 2: Accounting Resources Payrolls

The Accounting Resource helps in interacting between a Client and multiple numbers of Users. To maintain the

details of Projects undergoing in an organization.

Project #3: Babies Away

It is a Web based Application and it has an Admin, Local Admin. The Products that are added in Admin at backend can be

viewed and managed by a Local Admin and in Web view Customer can order the materials and depending upon

customers’ requirements. The Approvals are given by Local admin and a confirmatory message will be send to the user

and the Payment Processing is done online
