Professional Experience

PRODUCTION MANAGER( RTI Energy Systems, Inc. Spring TX ( Feb. 2012 to Oct

7,2013

Managed over 100 employees and supervisors overseeing the direct plant

manufacturing and operations of the machine shop, along with two

fabrication shops with an influential and motivational leadership style,

accountable for achieving the manufacturing revenue plan, while managing

cost and driving efficiencies. Insured the safety and wellbeing of the

team. Some of my responsibilities included machining carbon and titanium

subsea stress joints up to 49' long, pull tubes out of carbon steel and

connectors for subsea raiser pipe. The Fabrication area specialized in both

high volume and custom fabrication while maintaining cost and schedule

performance through strategic staffing and planning. The high volume pipe

shop is fabricating production subsea raiser pipe to customers

specifications. I was directly responsible for the quality and

profitability of the products manufactured while maintaining a schedule to

the customers.

Quality Manager ( Navasota Oilfield Services Inc., Navasota, TX (

April/2011 -Feb.2012

Managed the implementation of ISO/TS 29001:2010 (API Q1) quality management

system for certification by API and the implementation of quality work

instructions using API requirements, API recommended practices and best

industry practices. Acts as liaison to customers and suppliers, and

provides guidance to all departments relating to documented procedures for

the quality system. Provides general support of continual improvement

processes and quality management techniques and facilitates application of

those techniques within the company. Ensures employee compliance with all

derricks for drill ships, telescopic mask, and conventional derricks.

execution of fabrication projects for chemical and power plants, gas

refinery repairs, and offshore girders for drilling platforms and

compressor skids. Managed the AISC certification program, training welders

and fitters in the trade.

girders, heat curving 160' highway bridge beams with oxy/gas fuel torches,

on projects like "The Sam Houston Toll-way", Jumbo Boiler Girders for Power

Plants, Box Girders, Trusses, Skids and Railcar Bottoms. I had 9 direct

report Supervisors as well as 225 shop employees.
