Medical Assembler
Second Source Medical LLC - San Jose, CA - January 2014 to July 2014
Working within a team in a controlled/clean-room manufacturing environment while wearing required clean-
room garments.
• Perform ziplines medical devices assembly work using microscope and used small hand tools such as
tweezers, and razor in a Clean Room environment.
• Work closely with supervision of manufacturing engineer to assemble surgical components using microscope,
tweezers and small hand tools.
• Responsible for Quality 100% adherence to the manufacturing process requirements.
• Inspection of in-process units and subassemblies, as well as materials.
Final Mechanical/QC

System Integration: Build To Order (BTO) and Configure To Order (CTO) - installed CPUs, DIMMs, PCI cards,

• Quality and Cosmetic inspection: determine that there are no scratches and no defective parts are installed
in any components by the Repair Station.
• Inspect completed and in-process items, parts, and products for defects.
• Using magnifying glass and microscope to determine if there are any scratches and contamination on the
component.
• Assemble Network module and enclosure.
• Link sub-assemblies to final product using MES and EPS linking systems.
• Read and follow of blueprints, engineering change notices, and special instructions.
• Maintain records of completed inspections.
Assembler/Tester

Delivery systems such as Maramba, Draco, Congo, Felton, Virgo, Virgo_Family, Lynx_Family, Nashua,
Mensa, Concord, Aurigi, Calisto_Family, Vayu into Pre_IST, IST "Initial System Test", SFT "Final System
Test", and PPA's test.
• Fill out production travelers after system passed Pre_IST/IST/SFT/SAT/PPA.
• Signed of those above passed systems for the mover delivery to Pack-Out.
• Scan failure system into MIS_SFCS (Collector) before send it to repair teams.
• Performed mechanical assembly using hand tools, power screwdriver, Torque driver, and electric drill.
• Followed work instructions and manufacturing process instructions in performing standard tasks such as
component installation: CPUs, DIMMs, PCI cards, Power Supplies, Hard Drives, Fans, Power Distribution
Board, Disk Backplane, SAS_Cables, Sata_cables, and Riser Cards into the Server systems.
• Applied serial number label on each of the above part and scanned them into sub-floor control. Print the
systems label and applied on the chassis.
