To Whom It May Concern:
Please accept the attached application for the position of Administrative
Assistant.
As you will see on my resume, my most recent position was administrative in
nature. As Administrative Secretary of the Vicar General, second in charge
of the Diocese of Fresno, I dealt with a high volumn of calls, screening
them and assisting those I was able to do without forwarding to the Vicar
General. Responsible for taking messages and delegating response to other
departments when appropriate, my position also required me to prepare for
meetings by preparing agendas, minutes, booking of meeting rooms and
arranging for snacks or meals.
Throughout the year, I coordinated several large events including the
distribution of flyers/event information, receipt and tracking of
registration, deposit of large sums of cash, travel arrangements, audio
visual and meal arangements and hosting of vendors and seeing to their
needs during the events. Throughout my daily activities, the ability to
prioritize and multi-task was essential to meet project deadlines. Salary
requirements are negotiable.
I thank you in advance for your consideration of my application.
Sincerely,
Christine Williams
