Dear Hiring Manager:
I was interested to see your job posting, and would like to learn more about this opportunity.
I have 6 years of experience working within the human resource department of variously sized
companies as well as industries. In my current role, I am responsible for all sourcing efforts, nationwide,
for over 20 different sites in 14 states; including the Dominican Republic and Hawaii. I managed
relationships with all hiring & station managers, directors, and executives. I also traveled out of state and
assisted in recruitment and retention efforts. Additionally, I was responsible for reference checks,
implementing Taleo as an ATS, quality control, and process improvements. I also assisted in VOEs,
benefits questions, onboarding pieces, and a handful of other HR projects. In my contract role with
Primesource Healthcare and Mosaic Sales Solutions. I was responsible for the entire internal recruitment
process. I assisted in all recruitment and sourcing efforts, coordinated interviews, as well as managed the
entire on boarding process for new associates. In addition, I also met with various executives on a weekly
basis to maintain metrics, job scopes and retention efforts. With Mosaic, I was using experiential
marketing methods to actively recruit candidates as well as own the entire requisition from start to finish.
In my previous role with Peoplescout, I was responsible for all open positions within three regions
of the country; including 9 states and up to 75 requisitions. In my role as Recruiter, I conducted all phone
interviews and requisition tracking. Additionally, I also coordinated all hiring events, advertising, and job
sourcing. This position required “out of the box thinking” on a daily basis. All my previous positions have
given me a firm understanding of business conduct in the private and public sectors, as well as the
initiative to specialize my career path.
I am currently a third year student at DePaul university, earning my BA in HR Management in
2014. I will be taking my PHR Certification this year as well.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope to have the opportunity to discuss the
opening with you in person.
Sincerely,
Teri Yackley
