Summary

Over 19 years of software development experience mostly on Microsoft technologies. Have worked in many large and multinational enterprise organizations, specializing in SharePoint architect, design & development projects. Design and developed distributed solutions using SOA & various Design Patterns. Industry: Auto Finance

Description: Designed, developed and architect Vehicle Registry system, a SharePoint 2010 / 2013 solution. The solution helps in getting information from the stores for repossessed vehicles that needs to be transported to AutoCash used by 1500+ stores to enter information related to vehicles. Developed InfoPath forms, web parts, master pages, custom workflows and reports. Extensively used client side programming using JQuery. Involved in administration as well as migration to SharePoint 2013.

Description: Worked on numerous engagements on SharePoint 2010 & 2013 for MS clients that includes QRM (Quantitative Risk Management), ConocoPhillips, JP Morgan Chase, US Army Dept. of Defense (DoD), NJ Dept. Of Health, Aetna, Microsoft Internal Project, ConAgra, CBRE & Henry Ford Health Systems (HFHS). My various engagement here at MS ranges from six months to two weeks. Primarily I am SharePoint developer, but on few engagements I have also worked as SharePoint IT Pro. I have done custom SharePoint development using C#. I have created various Web Parts, custom master pages, application pages to handle security authentication, workflows, reports, CSOM, REST and customizations using JQuery. For Dept. of Defense engagement, I was also involved in the migration effort from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010 for DoD. I also assisted in installing and configuring Reporting Services, Power Pivot in Integrated mode, Performance Point and resolving issues with SharePoint 2013 App Model. Baylor Health Care Systems (Oct 2010 – Sept 2011)

Project Purpose: Kiosk for solution for Hospitals & Clinics

Description: Architect, design & developed a mid-size capacity project to replace traditional paper based manual process with fully automated Kiosk based system. It allows patient to register online and create their profile. During a visit to the hospital, the patient can login to the Kiosk, validate their visit information, enter & validate insurance information, provide method of payments (credit card &/or check), sign all consent forms and complete the check-in process. Implemented a web application to track real time tracking of Kiosk activities. Designed & developed numerous custom SP2010 web-parts & workflows for public facing & intranet websites. Assisted with architecture, led design effort and mentoring junior developers.

Project Purpose: New features and enhancements to the website

Description: Large development project to replace legacy applications and consolidate into one intranet web application. Assisted in requirement gathering, architecture, development, deployment, and providing support after successful rollout. Participated in establishment of best practices and process improvements related to development methodologies, standards and systems architecture. Implementation and administration of unit tests, auto builds and continuous integration process using TFS. Integrated web application with SharePoint to search, upload and retrieve documents. Assisted in site provisioning, migrating web parts and content databases from SharePoint 2007 to 2010. Provided guidelines and helped in setting up development, staging and production environments for SharePoint 2010.

Description: Led team in architecting and designing backend database model, corporate web application and various front-end applications for Windows CE touch based application. Project Purpose: Involved in the full life cycle of n-tier web application used to calculate commissions, adjustments in career level, activity status and relationships of beauty consultants. Played a key role in integrating project with the Ordering project which was developed by another team. Lead team members in implementing different Enterprise level components such as Configuration Manager, Logger, Exception Management, Caching, DataAccess Layer which are specific to Mary Kay business.

Description: Large implementation of DSL & FIOS ordering system for a leading telecommunication provider extending over 3 years. This new application replaced and consolidated over 10 legacy systems.
