outside auditors.

o Reorganized accounts payable to reduce staff and reduce

vendor cut-off problems.

o Additional duties included banking relations, loan

adherence, and cash flow analysis. These assignments

were a result of my involvement in the due diligence and

subsequent acquisition of a $35 million company.

. Newport News Shipbuilding, Newport News, VA

o Quality Improvement Coordinator for three (3) years for

the company's continuous improvement program - was

responsible for training, monitoring results, and

identifying cost reduction areas.

o Overhead Budgeting Coordinator - highlight was active

participation on a workers' compensation team that

reduced workers' compensation costs by 15% over two (2)

years.

o Accounts Receivable Billing Coordinator - highlight was

automating accounts receivable data, billing process,

and cash flow projects and supervising billings of $50

million on a bi-weekly basis.

o Supervised accounting operations for a subsidiary of

Newport News Shipbuilding that provided repair and

engineering services for the nuclear power industry.

o Streamlined accounting functions using several personal

based computer systems that allowed for 50% reduction in

personnel in areas covering financial reporting, general

ledger reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable,

and financial planning.

o On-site accounting supervisor for a major project that

lasted one year and involved 500 personnel - responsible

for setting up accounting department, customer billing,

labor reporting, payables processing, general

accounting, and cash forecasting.
