Assigned to USS AMERICA (Aircraft Carrier), Marine Corps Aviation Unit, and
two health care facilities. During time on aircraft carrier 20 months was
spent in an extensive industrial environment re-modernizing ship at
Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Trained crew in fire safety as well as OSHA
program compliance. While with Marine Corps Unit, assisted with training
in flight safety, combat medicine and heat stress during Operation Desert
Storm.
. Worked with military and civilian safety managers to ensure over 5000
personnel were educated in all safety programs. Completed aircraft
mishap reports.
. Worked on Flight Deck of Aircraft Carrier as Safety enforcer and
Emergency Medical Technician.
