Relevant Projects
. I was named Interim Non-Ferrous production supervisor at Commercial
Metals Company for 9 months where I oversaw the every day operations,
safety, inventory control, supervised employees work schedule and
educated department customers about our raw material specification.
. Commercial Metals Company El Paso Branch Safety Committee leader.
Duties include but not limited to safety walkthroughs to inspect yard
operation procedures, equipment and employee welfare. Generate
corrective actions in our Intelex safety website, generate work orders
to fix any unsafe items encountered in our walkthroughs, perform CMC
monthly safety meeting training, schedule and organize safety training
such as OSHA10 Hrs., training for our plant, forklift certification,
material handler, railcar, man lift boom machine. I also trained the
trainer training to teach how to use all the machines described above
in this paragraph.

Outside buyer for a Scrap metal recycler. Duties include but not limited to
visiting customers to build new and maintain business relationships, to
inspect raw material before a bid proposal is presented using the American
Metal Market steel and/or nonferrous market publication.
New York Life Insurance Company November 2009 - November 2011.
I was an agent for the New York Life Insurance Company where I helped
families plan for their financial future. I helped them with their
insurance, college funding and retirement planning.
Mid-West Textile, January 2007 to December 2008
I was a production supervisor and industrial engineer where I supervised 18
to 100 plus employees on the production line and planned the everyday
production operations for that department. I was also in charge of safety
and quality assurance for our department.
William Beaumont Army Medical Center, January 2006- April 2006.
I worked as an Industrial hygiene technician in a 15 week Industrial and
Environmental Health and Industrial Safety Internship with the Preventive
Medicine Department. This internship involved ergonomics and workstation
design inspections, air and water quality surveys, noise and lighting
inspections, N-95 respirators certification, cleanroom pressure
inspections.
