Zetron is a successful designer and manufacturer of wireless communications

systems, paging systems and data telemetry.

Software Tester at Zetron:

Test systems and products against requirements. Aid in the design and

development of test plans and test cases used to evaluate product

performance and establish benchmarks.

Essential Duties

. Perform assignments of the engineering test function including

requirement analysis, test plan development and test case creation and

execution on complex products and systems

. Aid in establishing criteria for design testability based on requirements

analysis; provide Engineering with suggestions for redesign where needed

. Mentoring of less senior team members on test methodology and technical

aspects

. Establish criteria for the evaluation of test equipment required to

perform quality assurance and test functions.

. Perform long term load, stress, and performance characterization testing;

collect and report data that affords critical analysis.

. Produce written test reports.

. Required to perform the job functions in a safe manner.

Engineering Technician

Responsibilities:

-Provide engineering support on board and system level testing.

-Building and testing of prototypes.

-Verification, Validation and Compliance (ESD, EMI/RFI and Environmental)

testing.

-Prepare recommendations for testing and documentation of procedures to be

used from the design and test phase through initial production run.

-Troubleshoot HW/SW.

-Perform complex assignments of the engineering test function for standard

and/or custom devices.

-Perform board and system level testing, product reworks, Prototyping:

soldering, wire wrapping, circuit breadboarding, rework, test cable

assembly and troubleshooting.

-Provide engineering support in building prototypes and aiding in the

testing of prototypes.

-Perform long term environmental and electrical stress testing while

maintaining traceable data to - substantiate performance criteria.

-Aid in problem confirmation by developing tests that resemble a customers

environment.

-Assist in the implementation and support of ISO 9001.

-Writing procedures for engineering and production use.

-Perform moderately complex assignments of the engineering test function

Requirements:

-Business math and communication skill as required with a 2 year degree.

-3 years experience in a high tech environment with 1 year experience in an

engineering environment.

-Proficient with standard test equipment. Such as oscilloscopes, signal

generators, meters, power supplies etc. Labview and Visual Test a plus.

-RF (LTR) and PC S/W and H/W experience a plus.
