Responsible for Organising and maintaining a central facility for Purchase

Of Capital goods, Spare parts, services and contracts on a best price /

best quality basis. Also ensuring the smooth supply of material,

consumables and equipments to the company.

7 months experience (from Jan,2014 - present) as purchase officer in G R

Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd. Responsible for Organizing and maintaining a

central facility for Purchase of Capital goods, Spare parts, services and

contracts on a best price / best quality basis. Dealing with CAPEX (Capital

items) department.

Have also worked as onsite purchase in charge for Bhimpura to Gulabpur

highway project in Gulabpura(Rajasthan) from(Jan,2014 to Mar,2014)

DUTIES

. Basically deals with CAPEX (Capital items) department.

. Involvement in purchasing of capital machineries like HOT MIX PLANT,

MILLING MACHINE, CEMENT SILOS, CONCRETE MIXERS, EXCAVATORS, BACKHOE

LOADERS, HYDRA CRANES, TANDEM VIBRATORY ROLLERS, MINI VTR, DOZERS,

ROCK BREAKERS, CRUSHERS, POWER TROWEL, etc.

. Involved in purchasing of admin related items like MOBILE PHONES,

COMPUTERS, LAPTOPS, VEHICLES BOTH PERSONAL AS WELL AS COMMERCIALS,

etc.

. Involved in purchasing of Toll Plaza Equipments like BOOM BARRIERS,

THERMAL PAPER ROLLS, etc.

. Basically made all the price comparison charts with key emphasis on

UNDERSTANDING THE REQUIREMENT, NEGOTIATION OF PRICE AND PURCHASE

TERMS, TAXATION, etc.

. Responsible for order placement timing, supply/demand alignment,

material replenishment and supplier performance.

. Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier

performance.

. Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the

system.

. Execution and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties.

. Coordinate with user departments and suppliers in the purchasing

scope of work for projects assigned.

. Support relevant departments with quotations for the purpose of

tenders.

. Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and

documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.

. Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers to

ensure that all items are delivered to site/store on time.

. Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of

quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.

. Plans and manage inventory levels of materials or products.

. Source for new parts, suppliers or sub-contractors when the need

arises.

. Collect the L.R. and daily receipt of material from various vendors &

transporters.

. Receipt of items in stores & arranging inspection of material by User

Department.

. PREPARATION OF "PURCHASE REQUISITION (PR) & PURCHASE ORDER (PO)" IN TO

THE SAP.
