Accomplishments
Winner of the 2012 Facility Operations of the Year Award
Implemented the startup of the Cleveland Clinic business into the
CardinalHealth network. This was a $100M customer implementation; one of
the largest in the history of the HS/Medical business for CardinalHealth.
There were no significant business issues. Maintained fill rates of 99%.
Successful rollout of several LSS projects to include the following;
Physician Office core lists, dock management technology to control
inventory defects prior to shipping to customers, procurement of PM
contracts for building maintenance across region.
Field Project Manager for the largest building consolidation project in
Cardinal-MPS history, this included the closing of four buildings into a
consolidated building in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. metro area; the
coordination of the project moves, over 800 trailers of product relocated
over a 6 week period. Working with inventory control to ensure appropriate
inventory was in place prior to first shipment to customers. Project cost
was $35M.
Successful start up of new operation in Swedesboro, NJ assisted in
coordination of the startup, staffing and training of associates.
Coordinated the move of the old facility into the new facility to include
procurement of inventory and a shift of inventory from various sites which
supported market prior to new facility opening.
Winner of 4 Operations Excellence awards between 1992 and 2002 before
moving into corporate/regional role.
Winner of the "Pinnacle Award" for SCS-M, award given to those managers who
consistently perform at a high level and achieve positive results over a
period of three years or more.
Implemented the first Logistics Source program in the country with the
implementation of the West Penn/Allegheny Health System. Required internal
coordination of three Cardinal sales divisions and two
inventory/procurement team/operation units.
Mentor for new operations managers, many have gone onto to very successful
positions within Cardinal and outside Cardinal.
