This is where I begin training on the job as a ceramist.
I first learned to opaque and then
build porcelain. Cutting in crowns came a little later
and glazing.
This was a combination denture and crown & bridge
lab. The son-in-law, Richard Askew,
ran the crown & bridge department and in agreement
with Mr. Howington, closed this
department and opened his own crown and bridge lab,
Trademark Dental Lab., where I
followed and continued to work.
