PROJECT
Engineering project:
Title "Network whiteboard sharing using p2p networks":
Network whiteboard is an interactive whiteboard for teaching and presenting. It
is a typical paint program screen and drawn objects can be shared. The audio and
video functionality was designed with ease of use and yet powerful capability in
mind. The only downside to including audio and video functionality is that it
can be very resource intensive for a system to run and requires a computer with
moderate power to operate useable. LeoSummit is an open-source, multi-platform,
peer-to-peer conferencing package designed to be a complete solution for all
remote conferencing. At the most basic level, users can chat using instant text
messaging. Building on top of this are features such as a shared whiteboard,
private chatting, file sharing, polling and video and audio conferencing
capabilities. .
M.Tech project:
Title "Optimum Node Deployment Strategies to Improve the Network Lifetime in
Wireless Network"
In a wireless network, if the sensors are deployed randomly across the network,
energy depletion rates will be different for their different traffic intensities
depending on their locations. Usually, the sensors near the sink consume more
energy so they deplete their energy sooner, when enough of them exhaust their
energy, they leave holes in the network, causing the remaining nodes to be
disconnected from the sink. To avoid energy holes and for achieving maximum
network lifetime energy consumption model has been proposed. Based on energy
consumption model, the deployment strategy has been derived to provide a
guaranteed First node Die Time (FDT) and All node Die Time (ADT) of network with
minimum number of sensors which are deployed in WSN.
