EMPLOYMENT
* Founder and CEO, Sian-Tech Global, LLC, Austin, TX 08/2013 –
present
- Started a company called Sian-Tech Global LLC, to offer following engineering services
Manufacturing Plant Analysis and Follow-Up Actions - The BEST plants across ALL industries,
around the globe, are the benchmark for this analysis (Unique). We scrutinize all functions
(Assembly, QA/QC, Testing, Packaging, Shipping, Maintenance, Warehouse, etc.), with laser
sharp focus. We check specifications, processes, fluidity in communications, inventories,
SOPs, maintenance, synchronization among various functions, and identify issues,
inconsistencies, opportunities, solutions. We come up with an action plan and work with you to
implement it.
Competitive Product Teardowns & DFX analysis - We teardown/dismantle the product/s of your
competition and conduct DFX analysis, study packaging, analyze un-boxing (initial customer
experience), identify ideas, and then feed you that important information - their design
decisions, practices, components, materials, etc., which you can implement, and also their
pitfalls which you can avoid. So theoretically, you are starting at a higher level than your
competitors. We also work with your design team to design your product by taking right DFX
decisions. Teardowns could be conducted for your own products for further improvements.
* Principle Quality Engineer, Dell Quality Engineering, Round Rock, TX 07/2011 –
08/2013
- Drive quality during server development – Ensure product quality through reviews and follow-
up actions regarding PRD, VOC, LL’s, NUDDs, DFM, Serviceability, Usability, Customer facing
documents, PCBAs quality, and various audits, followed by corrective / preventive actions
(CAPA), and by working with NPI team.
- Conduct customer surveys, unbox and install servers at customer sites, and take corrective
actions on findings.
- Project Manager: Led Dell-Foxconn Task Force meetings (cross-functional) to reduce FIR60 in
server manufacturing at Foxconn, Mexico. Conducted audits of pre-pilot, pilot, safe-launch and
production systems and drove corrective actions. Also conducted audits of assembly, pre-test,
burn-in, packaging, and shipping functions. Found 70+ product and process issues, leading to
product or process improvements.
- Project Manager: Led cross-functional effort to develop DFM requirements.
* Senior Business Systems Analyst, Dell IT, Round Rock, TX
09/2009 – 07/2011

production yields from 78% to 96% in 8 months.
- Project Engineer: Led teams to establish/re-engineer processes to eliminate boot test in chip
production (cost & cycle time savings, simplified flow) and worked with development team to
improve quality.(5000ppm to < 300ppm rejects). Captured failures and drove FA/new tests.
* Engineering Manager, Motorola Multimedia Systems, Austin, TX
