Utilized succession planning to provide smooth transitions with the

unforeseen loss of key Associates in the operation. Implemented best

practices of the six other Corporate warehousing operations. Reduced

employee turnover by enhancing training and installing a buddy type program

for new employees. Developed and implemented a Driver Activity Based Pay

Program which reduced

costs of delivery of goods to the stores. Reduced accidents and associated

costs by over 40% through supervisory training, awareness and intervention.

Successfully staffed two material handling equipment repair shops with

skilled tradesmen despite the wage disparity between the existing contract

and the prevailing wage rate in the labor market. Negotiated and

implemented work rules and set precedents that were advantageous to the

operation. Implemented a sanitation program that met the requirements of

the newly instituted Silliker Sanitation Standards despite reduced
