PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
TCOM, LP (Columbia, MD)
Global manufacturer and supplier of Aerostat Systems
Manufacturing Engineer – October, 2011 to Present
Product Development – Work with design engineers, system engineers, and program management to
ensure products are designed in order to be manufactured with little wasted time and material.
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) - Facilitate material requirements planning, cost, procurement,
inventory control, facility layout, staffing requirements, scheduling, and shipping for multiple projects to
ensure on time delivery to various customers. Note: Deltek Costpoint software is used for ERP.
Product Documentation - Use Oracle Agile software to control engineering drawings, manage BOMs,
and implement changes to drawings when an opportunity arises to improve the manufacturing process
of an assembly.
Lean Manufacturing – Ensure minimal time and material is wasted by using methods such as Just-in-
Time and Continuous Flow manufacturing. This requires using all resources available to the company in
the most efficient manner. Also use tools such as Root Cause Analysis to determine why problems
occur and how to prevent them in the future.
Field Service – Visit sites/customers when needed to ensure any issues that arise are solved and to
make any documentation changes that will prevent the issue again.
