Social devoted and academic activities like: 1) To collect the funds from affordable class of people

for poor patients for their treatment medicines, diagnostic work up. 2) To run a medicine bank for

poor people from free samples from medical representatives of pharmaceutical companies.

3) To run camps in rural epidemic and endemic areas.

4) To collect food materials like pulses like soya bean, jiggery, and to distribute to malnourished pts.

5)To teach admitted people in evening regarding health awareness and education through television

and other means.

Academic Activities :

A. To take detailed history, complaints, signs, findings of each patient daily in the ward.

B. To give rounds of every patient to senior doctor- detailed hot discussions were going on

regarding clinical diagnosis of pt. and was later confirmed by investigations, then treatment

planned according to standard regimen .Health education of patient regarding hygiene, to

take vaccine and preventive medicines.

C. Daily teaching sessions like case presentation in which detailed history from antenatal period

to present findings, signs, general & systemic examination and then diagnosis

investigations and treatment.

D. Discussion about medical journal articles. Death case discussion-what more could have been

done for the pt. who expired and to teach students of M.B.B.S. –case discussion.

E. Running asthma and respiratory disease care clinic, nutrition care clinic, well baby clinic- to

give regular vaccination to children as per standards, to monitor growth and development of

children, to do follow up of new born babies, to monitor chemotherapy treatment of haemato-

oncological paediatric patients .

Experience:

I am proficient in monitoring paediatric patients and neonates on ventilator, managing LBW

babies, attending birth calls, to give parenteral nutrition.

I am expert in procedures like endotracheal intubation, arterial blood collection, central and

peripheral line insertion, exchange blood transfusion, ICD insertion, Umbilical artery/vein

catheterisation, lumbar puncture and management of all paediatric emergencies.

Language: IELTS International English Language Test System ..conducted by British Council;

in July2009 & secured 6 bands., Also knows Hindi,Gujarati.
