Position – Lead Electrical Quantity Surveyor (High Potential) – Oil/Gas Project
The Projects is the largest In-situ Thermal Oil Plant in the World. The Client is M/s. Imperial Oil Resources. Value of the
project is approximately CAD 2.50 Billion other than the Client supplied materials/Items. Professional duties are as

Identifies trends, deviations and recommend corrective courses of action with regards to Budgeted Quantity Vs
Quantity Installed
Prepares appropriate cost monitoring reports for all work packages with emphasis on productivity against planned
work.
Prepare cash flow forecast based on planed schedule of work with the associated S-Curve graphs
Handles change management regards to extra work order (EWO) and sub-contract change notice (SCN)
Accumulates, compiles and validates accurate quantity installation data
Participates in weekly project cost/progress/quantity reviews/schedule meetings
Periodic and final procurement audits identifying, documenting and archiving lessons learned for future projects

roads, bridges, tunnels, Electrical works (Feeder pillars, substations, ducts, conduits, cable trays, generators, high/low
voltage underground cabling etc.) and Mechanical Services (Water/Sewerage pump stations including pipe works,
water/drainage/sewerage underground pipe lines, chambers, valves etc.) and landscape works etc.} and 2 office buildings
inclusive of civil, architectural, electrical works and mechanical works. Professional duties were as follows:

Prepared Tender Evaluation Reports with recommendations for most suitable Tender

1. Comprehensive Improvements of the Parallel Roads – Contract 2A, Value: Approx. US$ 510.00 Million. The Project
includes 5 bridges, 2 underpasses, 2 major Interchanges & 26 km of highway (dual carriageway) with 3 lanes at both
sides of the road.
2. Widening of Al Qudra Road, Value: Approx. US$ 405 Million. It contains 2 additional lanes to existing 35 km highway
(dual carriageway), widening of 2 under passes at existing highway, 2 bridges and widening of one interchange.
3. Comprehensive Improvements of the Parallel Roads – Contract 2C, Value: Approx. US$ 260.00 Million. The Project is
inclusive of 2 bridges, one underpass & 15 km of highway (dual carriageway) with 4 lanes at both sides of the road.
4. Comprehensive Improvements to Al Ittihad Road Phase 1, Value: Approx. US$ 175.00 Million. The Project includes
2 bridges, widening of three under passes and 8 km of existing lanes at highway (dual carriageway).
5. Dubai Water Canal Project – Phase 1 & 2 (involves in Pre-contract stage only), Value: Approx. US$ 350.00 Million. It
contains 15 km of open cut canal with concrete retaining walls and one tunnel crossing a highway.

Electrical works and Mechanical works. I have finalized around US$ 37.00 Million worth of Variations and substantial
