Role: Project Consultant (Hybrid Project Management & Business Analysis

Role)

Implementing a key L'Oreal UK & Ireland supply chain project (Project

L'OT). Complete project life cycle; involving a European-wide group

level solution to ensure L'Oreal is compliant with 2013 EU cosmetic

regulations on product batch traceability from factory manufacture to

end-retailer distribution.

. Managed L'Oreal UK Luxe division's project activities and

documentation (for all UK, Ireland and Channel Island distribution).

This included L'Oreal Luxe's UK distribution centre (10,000m2), plus

additional third-party locations with logistics activities and

inventory consisting of over 60 million units of stock movements both

in-bound & out-bound flows being managed and controlled

. Produced and presented weekly integrated communications project flash

reports to project sponsors, stakeholders and departmental heads in

charge of merchandising, purchasing and marketing teams

. Accountable for fact finding, analysing & modelling data to propose &

recommend the most efficient solutions to implement; 'Direct

Acquisition' / 'Time-Frame Deducibility' to support L'Oreal's DC

supply chain workstream

. Created and extracted ad-hoc reports from SAP for data interrogation

analysis to support traceability methods

. Conducted Site Diagnostics (Process Assessments) and Detailed

Productivity Impact Assessments for the distribution centre as well as

Gap Analysis Workshops to identify solutions to business requirements,

and to help define technical specifications for new functionalities to

the core Warehouse Management System (SAP)

. Produced Activity Design documents defining all warehouse process

flows (As-Is & To-Be's), batch control mechanisms, traceability

Involved in kick-starting the E.ON & Equifax Credit Bureau's UK wide

customer value optimisation initiative for the evolution of the SME

credit checking solution. Migrating from the existing off-the-shelf

product (eDecision) to a more tailored and robust platform (Decision

Navigator). Acting as an enabler to customise rule sets and develop more

sophisticated credit checking strategies to obtain long-term efficiencies

tightly scheduled monthly funding deadlines.

replace the existing French platform's legacy CRM systems for the GE

Factofrance business by merging the 'Prospect' & 'Client' management

systems to allow full data sharing
