Provide technical leadership and mentoring to a global team of wind turbine tower engineers on the structural and

mechanical internals design.

Site Technical Leader as well as the lead for all 1.X product line tower programs globally.

Responsible for providing daily technical direction to 10-12 engineers located in the United States, Germany and

India.

Develop and implement numerous technical and design process initiatives and systems that improve design quality,

enhance team productivity, and encourage innovative thinking.

Determine and dictate the quality requirements for the tower manufacturing and assembly processes.

Tower Structure Lead Design Engineer (August 2008 to February 2013)

Performed as the engineer responsible for wind turbine tower and foundation structural design.

Delivered new tower structural designs for various new product introductions and design to order wind turbine

programs.

Responsible for ensuring quality of the tower product throughout the manufacturing/fabrication and assembly

processes.

Liaised with tower manufacturers to change tower designs for improved manufacturability.

Developed design improvements and upgrades to facilitate improved performance, increased life, and greater material

efficiency of GE wind turbine tower components.

Led and executed numerous cost-out tower design projects; the largest resulting in direct material annual cost savings

in excess of $18 million.

Stantec Consulting Services Inc., Cincinnati, Ohio

Project Engineer (July 2004 to August 2008)

Performed Design work and managed various geotechnical, water resources and underwater structural

assessment/inspection projects as project engineer.

Performed engineering analysis and structural assessment for bridges, piers, dams and other waterfront structures as

project engineer. Performed the underwater inspection and structural assessments for most of these as projects as

Engineer Diver of record.

Served as project manager for a number of projects including hazard mitigation grant projects for municipalities with

awarded funds in excess of $3.5 million.

Liaised with state officials and municipal representatives, prepared construction contract documents, and managed the

bidding and construction processes as project manager.
