Lead Technician

Covered an area from Nashville west toward Tennessee River. Also worked outside

the normal coverage area driving in a safe manner. Attended scoping’s for new

projects implementing new ideas and assisted in placement of new equipment. I

built a weekly schedule for most needed maintenance from received tickets. Kept

tickets from aging by responding promptly pulling CM tickets for priority. Also

had responsibility of responding to PM tickets from a remote station. Maintained

Bradley PLC, SCADA, multiplexer, fiber patch panel, MW radio, LMR, cisco

switch, cisco router, and all types of media, maintained diesel backup generator,

battery bank, ac/dc electrical system, ups, and all types of alarms. Communicated

with NOC checking out alarms for new systems. Assisted in training individuals

new to work station.

Quality Control

Worked in QA testing pole and pad mount transformers ensuring that transformers

met engineering specs. Tested amps, volts, and watts. Impulse, High pot. Tested 5

KVA up to 167 KVA. Induced transformers for insulation test. Paid close attention

to detail of every part of transformer.

Skills

Great people skills I believe in fair opportunity. Mechanical skills, good with all

hand tools and most power tools. Great mechanical aptitude. Oscilloscope,

millimeter, fiber fusion, Ameritech, fork lift, software word, excel, outlook, and

other types of test equipment, some PLC experience, and safety ordinated.
