01/Sept/2003 to 24/Sep/2005: Attended the IR Part 147 Approved Basic Training Course in the
CATEGORY B2 AVIONICS, from the city of Bristol College, UK with 10 weeks in-house training at British
Midland, Derby.
June 1994 – June 1998: Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Royal Bhutan Polytechnic,
Dewathang, Bhutan.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
June 2014 till Date: Working as an Expat in the capacity of Continuous Airworthiness Manager for Aero
Surveys ltd, Starbow, Accra, Ghana, West Africa to try and bring in the outsourced CAMO and build
capacity for the Local staff.
January 2001 till May 2014: Worked as Technical Planning Engineer with additional responsibilities as
Stores Inspector, IT administrator, Integrated Aviation Software Administrator with Druk air Corporation,
Royal Bhutan Airlines.
As a Technical Planning Engineer:-
Daily/Routine
A. Ensure that all data fed in the software system is updated correctly. Review the completed work
cards to ensure they are properly stamped, signed and closed on due date. Crosscheck with
system to ensure correct Hours/cycles are logged on the work cards.
B. Maintain a check list to ensure that no work card has been missed, including the additional cards.
C. Issue work cards for all scheduled and unscheduled tasks. This includes cards for renewal of
shelf life.
D. Work cards are to be issued well ahead of due date to give production section enough time to
plan and execute the job.
E. Check spares ordered against requirements. Ensure that necessary spares, consumables and
tools are available to execute the job well in advance.
F. To ensure all the Service Bulletins evaluated for compliance is loaded into the software system
and is being tracked for compliance.
G. To ensure that all certificates are renewed on time and the maintenance works are carried out on
time.
H. To ensure that any concession relating to spares and equipments are applied at least three days
in advance and approved by the authority before the due date. Any concession from production
should be checked so that it does not over run the due date.
I. To coordinate with Tech rep, aircraft and engine manufacturer or any vendors for jobs that needs
further consultation.
J. Ensure the short restraint checks are monitored closely & action taken accordingly.
K. Review calibration of tools and equipments for current in-house requirement prior to shipping for
calibration to the vendor. Issue Technical Directives for tools calibration.
Accomplishments.
a) Liaised with aircraft buyer during the sale of Drukairs two BAe 146 aircrafts.
b) Liaised with different MRO to carry out major maintenance works.
i. 16 years check on the BAe 146 aircraft with Flybe, UK.
ii. 8 years check on the two BAe 146 aircrafts at UK.
iii. MPC modification on the ATR aircraft with air works, India.
iv. 24 months check on the ATR aircraft with air works, India.
v. Cabin seat modification on the three airbus A319 aircrafts with CASL, Hongkong.
vi. 6 years check with STENGG, Singapore on the two A319 aircrafts.
vii. Landing Gear over hauls on the ATR aircraft.
viii. Worked with different MRO, Aircraft manufacturer and Vendors.
ix. Designed and prepared the present aircraft reliability report that is in use.
x. Designed all the Maintenance Forms into excel format for Druk air.
xi. Preparation of the Maintenance Program for the BAE 146 from the MRB and
MPD and implementation of the Program.
As an Integrated Aviation Software Administrator (IAS)
a) To carry out IAS related updates and upgrade as and when required and inform the users about
the changes and any new features.
b) To assist to change the IAS Access level for the users in accordance with the respective Module
controller’s instructions - (eg, Inventory Module = SPM and Maintenance Module = EM).
c) To coordinate with the IAS users and DSA(Daniel System Australia) and solve all the related
problem as and when it arises.
d. To setup new access and terminal when any additional computers or workstations are added.
e. To assist users to solve software related problem and forward the same to the IAS System
(Australia) for assistance and must inform the GM accordingly.
f. Check IAS backup systems for the correct functionality from time to time.
g. If required, assist each module user to print out IAS user manual from the network or IAS update
CD as and when required
As an Engineering and Maintenance IT
a. To setup any additional computers or workstations as and when required.
b. To plan and budget any IT related issues/requirements for the divisions for the coming
year.
c. To monitor and solve any software related problem within the Maintenance
Organization’s computer networking systems. If required, contact Druk Air IT office for
assistance especially when Hardware related problem or main server failure occurs.
d. Ensure the laptop computers on board A319 are updated after receipt of revision from
library.
e. Running the computer backup system.
As a Stores Inspector.
a) All incoming goods are checked for conformance to the Part number, serial number and/or other
specifications contained in the purchase order.
b. The goods are also inspected for proper packaging, condition, damage and blank where
applicable and that all paperwork is of a standard satisfactory to the requirement of the DCA.
c. Electrostatic Sensitive Devices (ESD) are to be kept in the original anti-static bag. Special area is
provided for unpacking of ESD items and must be used.
d. Goods that meet regulatory requirements and specifications will be processed by the stores
inspector and placed in the bonded store.
e. Goods that fail to meet the applicable requirements or specifications are placed in the
quarantined area and a deficiency form shall be raised.
