• Failure investigations, failure split and tests in regard the FMEA, FMEDA analysis;

Responsibilities as Team Leader (2008-2009) :

• Supervise / control / report / plan the activities of my team in the Electric Power Steering segment;

• Hiring, evaluation, training and career support for my the team (12 Engineers and Technicians);

• Establish the roadmap and strategy, expertise growing steps, resource planning (including the

calibration of the equipments and tracing of their functional status), equipment acquisition, insure the

following of the standards / norms / procedures.

Responsibilities as Resident Engineer (2009-2012) :

• Technical coordination and support of the HW development activities in the EPS projects for TKP;

• Review / Rework / Improve the design documents deliverable to the customer, including: the electronic

schematics, mathematical verifications/validations, WCA, CAD simulations, electrical / functional tests

specifications and test results;

• Customer support for tasks including: design check, robustness, EMC, integration / system tests.

Results as Engineer (2005-2012):

• A wide range of successful projects with contributions from ECU concept up to production. The projects

portfolio includes customers such as: Audi, BMW, Ford, GM, Volvo, VW, PSA, Daimler Chrysler;

• A wide range of successful HW activities including: schematic design, electric / functional tests, EMC /

ESD, layout (switch-box devices), WCA and analytic checks, requirements tasks, failure investigations;

• 1 patent registered at EPO (invention) regarding the protection of an electronic device (in case of

reverse battery supplying);

• A recognized trainer, the personal results in the WCA (worst case analysis) area being the most

important part of the shared knowledge so far;

• Many technical issues found in various designs as result of reviewing activities (regarding the chosen

component, their capability, allowed deviations), recognized as an exigent highly skilled Engineer;

• A severe design issue could be solved by statistical studies (a measurement value out of range). The

statistical result I provided shown a tolerable deviation from requirements (the client accepted);

• The use of different measurement technique (tg / ctg informations instead of sin / cos) improved the

immunity (with regard a fixture positioning error, as a persistent issue in the EOL test for the angle

measurement of a BLDC motor) solving so a major issue and unblocking so the production flow.

Results as Resident Engineer (2009-2012):

• All the deliverable technical information / results fully checked and optimally delivered to the client,

reviewed and reworked (as needed) with my permanent involvement regarding the supervision /

reporting of the activities performed by the different Conti teams assigned on the project for TKP.

• A strong established cooperation with TKP responsible, a fact that made possible to get easier

agreements in many matters (from basic negotiations up to the solving of the critical project issues);

• All the technical issues solved in optimum time with the clear involvement of the appropriate

responsible persons.

Results as Manager:

• A new development strategy have been implemented for the HW team in Iasi. As consequence this

team successfully became a Centre of Excellence for: failure analysis, WCA and thermal verifications;

• Creation of new processes (a resource management process developed in order to make possible the

share of the equipment and test facilities);

• Establishing the “Chassis and Safety” department in a new location (Iasi) from 0, by establishing the

list of needed items, quotations and acquisitions, hirings and trainings of the new comers. My HW team

counted 12 members, all hired and trained along 5 years;

• Several internal ideas, like the feedback collection from employees (“suggestion boxes”), an easier

way to check the place and status of the equipments based on RFID chips.
