Present
Job functions are to support specific Quality Engineering functions which are
essential to Product Development, Product Manufacturing and Product Quality Assurance.
As a Quality Engineer, I provide support by carrying out plant wide Quality Functions
to meet customer requirements through coaching, training, guiding, directing,
consulting and serving as the Quality representative for new product development and
implementation process. Act as 24/7 customer liaison for quality related issues. Use
manufacturing process improvement techniques such as 8D and 5-Why. I also conduct
internal audits in conformance with the ISO/TS 16949 Standards. Responsible for
writing Standard Work procedures, Control Plans, Process FMEA, and Process Flows.
Conduct Capability Studies on all new equipment as well as equipment being placed in

environmental controls. Serve as the head quality personnel and manage Process Control

Engineer
Responsibilities range from Quality / Industrial Engineering to overall Process
improvement in the chroming department. I create process procedure (Shop Routers),
which lists the flow of the parts through the value stream. I Conduct Six Sigma
projects to reduce waste and ensure the changes are ergonomic and safe. Design tools
and products to aid and increase shop floor production. I create quality and in
process work instructions for the various job duties on the shop floor, as well as,
conduct training sessions on the instructions to ensure that the proper procedures are

This is a HVAC Coil Manufacturing facility. Apply root cause analyses through Six
Sigma Tools. Develop and administer quality standards. Serve as Supplier Quality
representative ensuring that quality standards are met. Controlled scrapped and
returned coils and facilitated the disposition of the coils and verify that Corrective
Actions were completed on each coil. Examined and determined if warranty claims and
field failure were due to manufacturer or customer. Dissected field coils to determine
root cause for failure. Trained associates and team leaders in quality requirements
as necessary. Produced Quality Alerts and Quality Minutes to address quality issues. I
also conducted coil audits from raw material to finished product. Conduct Lean Six
Sigma projects to reduce waste and ensure the changes are ergonomic and safe. Prep and
assist with Kaizen Events. I also conduct Time Studies to aid in DFT efforts. Design
tools and products to aid and increase shop floor production. Aid in standard work
methods to ensure consistency in processes and methods, using similar equipment and
tools, and a standard way of training on the equipment and the use of materials. I
also aid in producing value stream maps for processes.
Quality Technician - Columbia Tool & Die, Columbia, SC 8/2004-7/2005
Contract
Maintained and systematically documented die repairs. Performed routine inspections on
dies and tooling materials as well as the disposition of the die. Designed new tooling
as needed using AutoCAD. Trained new employees.
Machine Operator- ALD Thermal Treatment, Columbia, SC 1/2002-1/2003
Contract
Heat-treated CV-bodies used in fuel injectors using PLC Programmed ovens. Prepared
CV-bodies for heat-treating by prepping them with an antifreeze solution. I then
immersed the CV-bodies into liquid nitrogen and placed them into the oven for the
heating process.
