PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Japan Cards is one of the major cards Business Unit for Citibank.
Japan Rainbow project is initiative to migrate legacy Cardpac system to
Rainbow Version of Vision Plus. Rainbow is a common base for Asia pacific
countries.
Japan legacy BAU runs 2 different systems for bankcard and Diners
cards. With migration to Rainbow both system database would be merged and
run under single Rainbow Base. Considering its tie-ups with different
vendors and the number of impacted vendors, the interface structure was
required to be retained in terms of layout and content.
My responsibilities as a Interface Manager
. End to End management of 2000+ Interface wires in Japan (3200+ Man
days project)
. Analysis, Development and Implementation of all custom Interfaces
(Demographic, DDA, Trams and DWH and other CMS interfaces)
. Giving estimation for the Interface project
. Review of Functional and technical document and perform client
walkthrough to get it baseline
. Managing team and assisting them across various lifecycles of the
project
. Conducting and driving weekly meeting with biz to understand the
scope for interfaces and baseline the requirements.
. Establishing connectivity with various vendors and getting required
setup in place for rainbow environment.

BRIEF: PSD (Payment Service Directive) is a regulatory in UK for which all
banks in European union are supposed to make funds available to the
customer as soon as the payments are cleared in bank. The paid amount
should get reflected in customers OTB immediately.
RESPONSIBILITES:

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
GE Money has cards and loans processing in Vision plus V811 version.
There was lot of functionality built at custom layer. With GE Corporate
initiative to launce Global version of Vision plus it was mandatory for all
the business to migrate to newly launched global version of Vision plus.
This was major upgrade to implement considering no impact to ongoing
quarterly releases.

system setup as per project life cycle
