anomalies, radiological control problem-solving, and basic nuclear engineering theory and application. Preside over the training

of more than 300 nuclear trainees on various aspects of nuclear power plant operations encompassing preventative maintenance and

repair, chemistry control, chemical adjustments, radiological controls, environmental implications, and fluid theory and

dynamics. Spearhead staff instructor in developing training curriculum and overhaul of the chemistry and radiological control

training program for all nuclear trainees; thus enhancing overall instructor efficiency and readiness.

Reactor Laboratories Work Center Supervisor/ Compliance Manager, Chemistry/Radiation Protection Nov 2012–2013

Directed all aspects of water chemistry for the reactor and secondary systems and all radiological controls for one operational

nuclear power plant. Ascertained absolute compliance with type commander and Naval Reactors guidelines, including water

chemistry trend analysis (reactor coolant and secondary plant boilers and feed water), ship demineralized water system

integrity, radiological work practice and documentation, secondary shielding integrity inspection, chemical supply inventory and

logistics, and radiological survey methods. Served as an effective program manager for the management and regulatory compliance

of the storage and disposal of more than 300 pieces of radioactive material produced by the USS Nimitz, with a score of

“Outstanding” on the Reactor Safeguard Examination. Performed preventative and corrective maintenance and provided oversight to

seven personnel, including training for quality control and work output. Closely monitored all radiological survey instruments

calibration.

- Played pivotal role as nuclear grade mechanic on board the USS Nimitz and Engineering Laboratory Technician (ELT) for
