Lafayette to Duson (10 miles). Liaisoned with Vice President / Project Manager of D&J Construction, general
contractor, regarding all operational phases including field inspection of concrete rubbilization, installation of
all roadway underdrains, and coordination of all asphalt procedures involving asphalt plant and asphalt
roadway. Maintained all documentation involving concrete patching roadway and plant.
• Guided $1.5M new construction of swing span bridge project for cut-across at St Martinville, Louisiana and
$2M I-10 rest area project at Breaux Bridge that included reconstruction of maintenance facility, construction
of tourist center, and recycling of cement requiring accurate testing, sampling, and gradation.
• Served as Project Manager for completion of $1.4M Krotz Springs Bridge over Atchafalaya River, coordinating
concrete pouring for main span drill shaft, pier foundations, pier column, and bridge decks. Also worked on
$1.8M I-49 Bridge project from Opelousas to Beggs, Louisiana; accountable for field layout of bridge
locations, driving concrete piles, test loading concrete piles, and field testing / inspection of asphalt roadway.
• Project managed $1.7M 5-lane concrete PCC paving of I-10 interchange reconstruction project at Breaux
Bridge that included elevation / drainage, utility relocation, property right-a-way, and concrete paving
operations.
