Career Objective: To become a part of a therapeutic support staff and to further enrich my passion in

teaching skills regarding adaptation to environmental situations, and one’s own predispositions in ways that

Australia in the rainforest near the Great Barrier Reef for 6 months. Included: traveling across world

alone, learning the traditions of unfamiliar groups of people from around the world, a completely different

schooling system, environment, and culture. Spent time traveling throughout neighboring country, New

Zealand, as well.

Server Twelves Grill & Cafe (June 2014 Current)

Responsibilities: Hospitality, Fine dining serving.

Server – Damon’s Grill in Clarks Summit, PA (June 2013 – February 2014)

Responsibilities: Customer service, Hospitality, opening and closing the store.

Practice in interactions with personalities and temperaments of all ranges in the general public. Teamwork

skills. Stress and time management. Payment is based solely off of customers’ satisfaction with your

services. Gained personal responsibility and independence. (approx. 8 hours per week)

Sheetz – Dickson City (May 2011 – May 2014)

Responsibilites: Customer service, Barista, Stocking and cleaning, Preparation for the next shift, making

the orders in the kitchen, preparing back ups, Cash register, etc. One of the more difficult and physically

demanding jobs. Gained patience, motivation, and the value of hard work. (16 20 hrs per week)

Technical Maintenance – Marywood University (August 2011 – May 2014)

Responsibilities: Set up the stage for events at Marywood, Set up lights, podiums, chairs, banners, Run the

events’ lights and microphones. Maintain a high GPA while working outside of being a fulltime student. (8

hrs per week)

Cold Stone Creamery – Moosic, Pennvylania (May 2009 April 2011)

Responsibilities: Shift supervisor. Oversee employee work and interaction, assisc stomers,

tu

respond to questions and issues, close and open store, handle the monetary responsibilities.

Service Work:

Independent Service: Raised money and awareness for Spinal Cord Foundation by collaborating with

Allied Services by requested grant money to be able to purchase tshirts and bracelets designed by myself

and 3 other Marywood students. Also involves spreading awareness through information pamphlets and

video presentations while selling the tshirts on campus, in the community, and at special events like

wheelchair basketball games. (Fall 2013)

“Nothing to Hide” event At Marywood University: Raise awareness about the stigma of mental

illnesses and provide a safe environment where people are encouraged to learn more about the facts of

mental disorders, hear speakers present their personal experiences with them, and to reduce the

stereotypes and negative connotations involved with certain diagnoses. Presented a poster and answered

questions on the stigma involving eating disorders and body image. (Fall 2012)

“Big Friends, Little Friends” after school program for children in low socioeconomic status homes in

the Scranton area to attend from the age of 4 – 10 to keep them out of trouble, make sure they get their

homework done, get a snack to eat, time to read books, do arts and crafts, and socialize with other

children. Served as a mentor and observed their behavior and interactions, as well as talked with them to

understand their home settings, backgrounds, and thought patterns. (Fall 2012)

Service project “Project Hope” at Camp St. Andrew – Raised money for low socioeconomic kids in

the local area to attend a summer camp and volunteered as a camp counselor and mentor for them.

(Summer 2010).

Volunteer work at Community Hospital Spent several years (2000 2005) volunteering in the Radiology

department of a local hospital before it closed down.
