Client Description:

PMI is an American global cigarette and tobacco company, with

products sold in over 200 countries with 15.6% of the international

cigarette market outside the United States.Until a spin-off in March 2008,

Philip Morris International was an operating company of Altria Group.

Altria explained the spin-off, arguing PMI would have more "freedom"

outside the constraints of US corporate ownership in terms of potential

litigation and legislative restrictions to "pursue sales growth in emerging

markets."[1] The shareholders in Altria at the time were given shares in

PMI, which was listed on the London Stock Exchange and other markets.

Projects:

Reports & Layout:

> Created ALV report of giving the sales order details delivery wise and

material wise.

> Created a report, which gives the entire Sales Order Status for the

given sales office, Sales group and certain date. The open sales order

report, which covers all organization levels, Material details,

storage location, delivery status, invoice status, shipping details.

The data was extracted from VBAK, VBAP, VBPA, VBUP, VBEP and KONV

tables.

> Change Purchase order script according to client requirement.

> Designed, developed new SAP Forms and modified the existing SAP forms

to suit customer requirements.

BDC:

> Developed a BDC program to change customer details, and add more

contact persons for that customer using transaction code XD02 using

Call transaction method.

> Developed a BDC program to change material master, and add more fields

for materials using transaction code MM02 using Call transaction

method

> Downloading data from SAP system to legacy system. Daily report of

goods issue & goods returns and downloaded into legacy system.

> Created BDC programs to Upload Vendor data from legacy system to sap.

The data was uploaded using transaction XK01 using Session method.

LSMW: Created a LSMW Program using MM01.

Reports and Layouts:

> Developed Material stock report, which shows the opening stock closing

stock, goods receipt qty, goods issue qty, Total stock value of a

material at given date.

> Developed report on Purchase order history.

> Modified a report based on Purchase Requisition number that displays

material number, quantity and delivery date as a basic list. Purchase

details as first list & price details as second list.

> SAP Script & Smart forms: Modified and Customized Invoice, Delivery

Note/Packing list, Order confirmation, picking list.

> Customized standard layouts for purchase orders as per the client's

requirement.

> Worked on creating Layout sets for Materials, orders and Invoice

Details.

BDC:

> Developed BDC program for uploading purchase order legacy data to SAP

system.

> Developed BDC program for uploading sales order legacy data to SAP

system.

Interfaces:

Designed and coded a BDC program for Sales Orders that updated records

in the sales order screen or will create new sales orders depending on

the source data file from external systems using VA01 and VA02

transactions.

Developed a Batch Input Program to upload Vendor Master Data from

legacy system to SAP R/3 database. The data was uploaded using

transaction XK01.

Smart forms:

Migrated Standard SAP Scripts for purchase order (MEDRUCK) to smart

forms and modified the layout sets according to the requirement of the

client.
