IT Project Manager
- I started in the company to set up JDEdwards World A7.3
cum15 in the group headquarters in 2004. I was responsible for
Sales Order Management, Advanced Pricing - Sales, Inventory
Management, Forecasting, Supply management (Procurement,
Distribution Request Planning DRP, Material Request Planning
MRP), Shop Floor Control. Further reporting and interface with a
third party warehouse management. Set up a part of General
Ledger, Account Receivable and Accounts Payable modules,
especially the part related to the distribution and
manufacturing modules (vouchers, AAI, invoicing, etc).
- After one year, we started the roll out in other subsidiaries
in Spain and France. In this case, I was in charge of the
following modules: sales, procurement, advanced planning,
address book, inventory management and France EDI (Electronic
Data Interchange).
- Next, we continued with the roll out process in another French
subsidiary where I was promoted to JDEdwards Department Manager
leading a team of 7 people. Additionally, we also started the
Supply Management Web Portal project and the Spanish EDI.
- We moved to Portugal with the responsibility of Sales,
Procurement, Advanced Pricing, Forecasting, inventory
Management, DRP, Address Book and little part of GL AR and AP.
We went on developing a manufacturing scheduling (Asprova) and
interfaces with the company's advanced warehouse management
software.
- I developed the S&P Customer Web Portal where customers can
inquiry the availability of our stock, enter their sales order,
inquiry on their pending orders, consult and download their
invoices.
- We started our first project in JDE Oneworld 8.10 for a small
company in Spain, by installing the following modules: sales,
advanced pricing, inventory management, address book and CRM. I
run this project with an external consultancy.
- After that, I monitored and gave support for the
implementation of the JDEdwards Oneworld 8.12 tools 8.98 in
Mexico, Colombia and Brazil.
- At present, I still give support to almost 20 key users (who
at the same time give support to more than 500 users) in the
following modules: Sales Order Management, Advanced Pricing -
Sales, Inventory Management, Forecasting, Supply management
(Procurement, Distribution Request Planning DRP, Material
Request Planning MRP), Shop Floor Control, Address Book and
Reporting.
- Furthermore, I monitor more than 10 interfaces with other
software (Spanish, Portuguese and France EDI, Warehouse
management, manufacturing scheduling, Business Intelligence,
etc)
- Other projects: Co responsible for building the Data Warehouse
(in Microsoft SQL) and all the reporting and Dashboard needed.
- Also, I am member of the committee of information technologies
and communication of Soler & Palau, a consultative organ of the
policy of TI/SI in the entire group, that implies dealing with
suppliers (overall with IT services consulting companies),
benchmarking processes, project management and continuous
technical formations.
