CNC mill programmer, GibbsCam software, Vertical and Horizontals.
Responsible for planning and programming vertical and horizontal machining
centers, Matsurra, Haas, Robo drills. Main materials machined were
aluminum, and aluminum castings. This was all Aerospace work. Interacted
with Inspection for reviews on how to approach new work. Main focus was to
put the part on one fixture, and do as much work as we could to it in one
clamping, and one machine. So parts didn't have to move from one machine to
the other one op at a time.

CNC mill programmer, GibbsCam software. Responsible for planning and
programming vertical machining centers, Haas was the only brand of
machining centers at this company. After I programmed the parts, I went to
do the setup on the machine, and ran out the first few parts to optimize
the program as efficiently as I could get it to turn it over to an
operator. Main material machine was aluminum. Commercial work.

I have been programming vertical and horizontal CNC mills for 15 years,
using GibbsCam software, having done 4 axis programming on both verticals
and horizontals, but, never 5 axis programming. I have also programmed in
Mastercam software, I have two semesters of Solidworks that I've taken
also, so I'm somewhat familiar with that software also. I have worked for
the most respected Aerospace machine shop here in Phoenix in the past, I
worked there for 6 years, the orginal owner sold the company and retired,
and it went down hill from there, and about half the workforce was cut due
to lack of work. And I was one of them that was laid off, but, I turned it
into a positive, I went back to school and learned Mastercam software. To
be able to make my self more marketable. I took 3 semesters of that, and
found a job programming in that software, and did that for a year, but, I
left that position for a company with benefits, the Mastercam position
company did not have any benefits.. Up until I was laid off in 2010, I had
3 jobs in 22 years, so I'm not a job hopper, I find a home and stay. I have
extensive background in Haas machines, both vertical and horizontal. I came
into programming from the floor, I have a total of 31 years experience in
the manufacturing industry. I have designed and built fixturing for both
new jobs, and repeat jobs for continuous improvement process.
I would be valuable asset to any company out there with my diverse
experience, machine knowledge, programming skills and dedication to quality
and having pride in what I do. I have two very quality references on my
resume, one is the Gibbscam sales rep here in Arizona, John Gulstad, and
the other is the former owner of the most respected Aerospace company in
Phoenix, Frank Kruetzberg.
