Position: Consultant for Database and Windows 7 Project
Project: Ticket tracking Access database
The ITCD Network Support maintains an Access database to track tickets
being entered and resolved the HP Service Manager and Service Now. I was
given the task of modifying the database to add new employees, change the
reporting methods, and update the background code to calculate correct
totals for reporting. This involves modifying existing VB Script and SQL
as well as adding new code.
Responsibilities:
V Adding new oncoming technicians to the database tables and the related
reporting methods.
V Adding additional reporting metrics to show various causes for problems
the technicians are in the field to troubleshoot.
V Modifying and adding code lines to reflect the above changes and correct
erroneous totals caused by deletions or previous code errors.

Project: Windows 7 System Conversion
The company is upgrading all users from Windows XP to Windows 7. They are
also being upgraded from Microsoft Office 2003 or 2007 to Office 2010. In
addition to the upgrade users are also being updated with new necessary
software packages to aid in existing or new job responsibility performance.
Responsibilities:
V Assisted in sending software updates to users' laptops and PCs to update
from Windows XP to Windows 7. These software updates also upgraded the
users from Microsoft Office 2007 to Office 2010.
V Troubleshooting issues with missing files such as personal PSTs or entire
missing programs.

upgrade of all software.

Position: PC Technician/Owner
Project: Bar Inventory Tracking Database
This was a database used to track the incoming and outgoing inventory of
alcoholic beverages sold within the bar. The system tracked the various
types of drinks that were sold and the amount of each ingredient or alcohol
used within each drink. The database was also used to track the sales of
various brands of beer over time. The tracking system was set to alert the
manager when inventory totals dropped below acceptable levels. Reports
were printed on a weekly basis for ordering purposes and on a monthly basis
for sales reports computation. This was designed using MS Access.
Project: Storefront Inventory Website
This website was used as a collective representation of available stock
within each location. Available inventory was rotated on and off the
website as new inventory was received and old items were discontinued.
Updated the website as requested when notified by the store owner of
necessary changes to prices or stock. The website was created through the
use of standard HTML, Java, and MS Frontpage.
Project: New Network Installations
Design and install new home and office networks using various network
tools, modems, and software. Connected existing desktop and laptop
computers to the newly established network. The networks were established
using both wireless and wired setups using various routers, hubs, and
switch units. Set up security measures for each network using desired
firewall and password protection using WEP, WEP-2, and WPA.
Project: Quicken Integration and Network
Worked to install Quicken accounting software on multiple computer systems
within a single office. Also installed a new network hub to allow
communication between the various computers connected to the network.
Configured Quicken software to receive updates from the additional
computers with permissions to the central software. The network was
configured using a standard TCP/IP connection.

Project: Troubleshooting Reference Intranet Website
An online guide consisting of step by step instructions for troubleshooting
the various computer and network issues occurring within the companies 1200
stores across the country. The guide was organized to allow easy Access to
the steps for resolving known day to day problems. The website was
designed using a frames layout with the solution steps being displayed in
the center frame for ease of toggling between issues. The project was
completed through the use of HTML coding. Screen shots of the commands
used during remote Access sessions to the restaurant computer systems to
correct software issues were also incorporated into the instructions.
Responsibilities:
V Collaborated with a team comprised of other senior technical specialists
to develop an online reference system using HTML and CSS for
troubleshooting hardware and software for use by all technical support
analysts.
V Provided Help Desk support for restaurant computer systems hardware and
