Flexi packet link commissioning.
Troubleshooting the service effecting faults such as diversity, TRx fault and
checking and clearing VSWR return losses in IF cables.
Clearing all the internal and external alarms at BTS site.
Coordinating and supervising the field technicians and other teams to resolve the
network degradation faults generated at BSC and/or BTS sites.
Troubleshooting of BTS equipment at site with coordination of NMS team.
Declaring the sites to be ready for operations and forwarding it to the RF drive
test teams.
Updating BTS site equipment software and correlate software version with BSC.
Complete site audit including change in antenna azimuth, electrical and
mechanical tilting and swap rectification during RF drive test.
Sep 2012 – Oct 2012
Trainee Engineer
Ericsson AB (Saudi Worked as a trainee telecom engineer at Makkah Hajj project, Saudi Arabia.
Main responsibilities were:
Modernization of existing sites with new equipment.
Troubleshooting the downgraded 2G and 3G sites.
Engineer Clearing external alarms.
Increasing the capacity of on air working telecom site.
Sep 2011 –Feb 2012
Master thesis researcher
Modelon AB (Goteborg, Sweden)
Racing drivers always want to traverse path at vehicle’s maximum performance limits while
Sweden) keeping the vehicle at its ideal trajectory. The main responsibilities of thesis were to design and implement strategy for the path following problem where driver had to follow the predefined 2D roads.
Steering controller design for closed loop racing driver model developed which tries to
mimic the actions of the actual racing drivers in real time environments. While travelling at maximum velocities on the straight road as well as during the curves, the performance of the steering controller for Formula student and passenger car is tested. Tests are conducted on J turn, Clothoid, Extended chicane, closing curve path and also tested under different environmental effects i.e. by adding disturbances inside the system.
PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
GSM certification at UET Lahore, Pakistan.
CCNA training at CISCO academy Comsats, Islamabad.
Dymola professional training at Modelon AB Gothenburg, Sweden.
PROJECT WORK
Bachelor’s Thesis X-band Radar Jammer
Tenure Apr 2008 – Feb 2009
Environment Matlab, Simulink, Micro Controllers (Assembly)
Description 8-12 GHz radar signals are intercepted, synthesizer local oscillator extracts the intermediate frequency and the base band signal is then processed where information (Frequency, Power, Pulse Width and Pulse Repetition time) of radar signal is extracted. After including the deceptive information, X band signal is retransmitted towards target radar; deceiving the radar at other end in terms of position and distance.
Key Responsibilities: Extracting different parameters after receiving the radar signal.
Modifying the signal parameters and retransmitting in X-band towards target radar.
Project Name : Client Closed Loop Racing Driver Model in Dymola Vehicle Dynamics Library.
Tenure: Sep 2011 – March 2012.
Company name : Modelon AB, Sweden.
Environment : Dymola Vehicle Dynamics Library, Tortoise SVN.
Description Racing driver model for Formula Student car in Dymola VDL is designed which is able to follow the predefined paths precisely whilst vehicle is travelling at its maximum possible speed.
Key Responsibilities: : Implementing new steering controller design which overcomes the drawbacks of existing controller in vehicle dynamics library. Stabilizing the steering response of Formula Student car on different road geometries. Interfacing steering controller with longitudinal controller which makes it possible to drive and follow the path at maximum possible speed.
Semester Projects
System on Chip : Interfacing two 8086 processors in parallel for enhancing the throughput.
Digital Signal Processing: Implementation of the filter banks in Matlab for analysing different signal characteristics.
