1981-2003 Georgia – Pacific various positions over a 22 year employment
• Spare hand: Hauled product to warehouse, maintained core area, cleaned basement and
paper machine area.
• 4th hand: # 13 paper machine, operated overhead crane and winder crane.
• 3rd hand: # 14 paper machine, operation of winder and helped on the paper machine.
• Back tender : #15 paper machine, helped crew leader with operation of paper machine
• Quality Control testing paper.
• Crew leader: # 12 paper machines, worked with Machine Manager to attain goals set for
paper machine, Such as safety, production, training.
• Junior tour boss: 2 years, backup supervisor and training supervisor.
• Kept log book and logged lost time, production, and maintenance issues.
• Training coordinator 2 years- Developed training manuals for paper machine
department.
• 21 years’ experience with paper machines and winders. Worked on high speed paper
machines, computer controlled, approx... 20 ft. wide.
