including wireless, software, phone systems, e-mail, vendor selection and
interface in a part-time position (two days a week) while working as an
attorney. Combined PC and Apple in our network, including designing an iPAD
implementation for student access to technology.

Proposed and implemented changes which when fully implemented saved at
least my salary for the District, including completion of a 1.4 million
dollar proposal from a contractor for less than 100K. Designed and
implemented all computer networking and other infrastructure while managing
a tech support department. Used in house resources to save 80 percent of
costs in wiring all school buildings, while leading District to become the
first in the county to be fully wired for Internet service. Served as staff
project manager with responsibilities including governmental reporting,
data mining, technology grants, and computer information systems including
accounting and student database. Negotiated contracts for technology.
Eliminated consultants for technology in my first year on the job.
Implemented new standards for analyzing student achievement and progress in
the Distrct including "live" standards testing through the Renaissance
program. Implemented web-based lesson planner and gradebook and live parent
access to grades. Interfaced with parents to ensure their satisfaction with
the online grade porta.l Provided support for management at the district
and school levels for computing, scheduling, reporting, and statutory
requirements. Designed and implemented training for office productivity
programs. Led District from a mainframe setting with 8 stand-alone PCs to
its modern technology of today. Implemented a staff development program for
technology employees to improve support levels and employee satisfaction.
Managed department of 33 employees which handled before and after school
programs, enrollment, truancy, residency, community education, website and
TV channel and management information systems for a school district.

largest paper distributor under one roof in the US. Designed and
implemented computer systems during an acquisition program which saw the

in time" AI systems

Youngest manager ever (18) at this subsidiary of IBM which handled computer
accounting for large and midsize companies. (similar to ADP). Managed shift
of 20 data entry operators, programmers, computer operators, and quality
control techs on the overnight shift full time while attending college.
Responsible for contacts between company and clients and coordination with
messenger service in the morning.
