Duties:
* Maintain control of the whereabouts and the safety of the children in my care.
* Plan and assist in leading activities for the program participants.
* Assist in planning and conducting an effective child development program to meet the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of each child based upon their goals and curriculum plan.
* Review and demonstrate daily schedules and activity plans.
* Arrange room and play materials to assists the daily schedule.
* To set up and maintain bulletin boards.
* Assists in creating adult -made games and materials (such as paints play dough and etc.* * Meeting and greeting parents and children.
* Completing Daily Reports Sheets daily to inform the parents about the child’s day.
* Maintain an accurate count of children in my care.
* Conduct daily health checks on the children as they arrived and are in my care.
* Create a home like atmosphere for the children. (Pictures of their family member’s, teddy bear, or a blanket from home to assist the child in a home like setting.
I also worked with the Summer Camp supervising 50 children and 8 staff. Providing indoors and outdoors activities for children in my care ages 5-12.
* Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the children and through constant supervision
* Promote and model safety, fitness, health, and nutrition and practices.
