Parts advisor/Parts delivery driver

I helped in the day to day running of a busy main dealership parts department.I put the delivered parts into the
correct locations and loaded the parts for trade deliveries onto the van.I booked the parts onto our computerised
system and booked the correct parts to delivery invoices.I did the parts deliveries to customers around South
and West Yorkshire mainly but used to go into Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
I dealt with telephone enquiries from customers and fax orders as well.I ordered parts from Mitsubishi on their
computer systems.I was customer facing serving on the front counter and also issued parts to the technicians
for the workshop and booked the parts to the correct job cards.
I used to handle large amounts of cash and also had a mobile credit/debit card machine to use when out
When I first started at Harratts,the parts dept was small and not doing many bodyshop orders and not serving
a wide area.I and my parts manager built up the business to be turning over £500,000 per annum.We became
one of the top performing parts departments in the U.K.
The dealership grew to be the biggest in the North of England.
I used my knowledge of the motor trade gained during my years at D.C.Cook Fiat,to help build up the trade
parts side of Harratts Mitsubishi.
