NDT RESPONSIBILITIES

As a NDT Inspector, major Job responsibilities were:

• Ensure compliance with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environment rules

and regulations; use PPE’s as required.

• UT lamination and thickness survey of gages both erosion components, vessels,

piping and tubing of petroleum, power welds, steel rounds, etc.

• Uses various Digital Ultrasonic Testing machines like USM-35 and Modsonic

(Einstein-II).

• Magnetic particle testing by using prod technique, magnetic A/C yoke permanent

yoke, central conductor method with dry and wet continuous method.

• Dye Penetrant Testing carried out on various configurations of weld metal as well as

parent metal by using Solvent removable method...

• Reporting of NDT operation matters to the Supervisor on a regular and as required

basis.

• 15 days training in Meena International Training & Services, India.

• UT weld scaning in plate and pipe.

• Carried out the lamination check in plate and pipes.

• Interpretation of Ultrasonic Testing, Radiographic Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing,

Magnetic Particle Testing.

• Liquid Penetrant Testing and Magnetic Particle Testing in fabrication parts.

• Prepared reports like PT, MPI, UT.
