RESUME

Misty Martin

Experienced Manager, Business Owner, Inspector, CSR

Cypress, TX 77433

acdxh0@r.postjobfree.com - 832-***-****

In all I have 10 years of customer service experience, with 3 being in

retail and 1 as a manager. I managed a mobile home community for 2

years and ran my own real estate business for 3. I inspected and

maintained foreclosed homes and commercial properties.

I ran my own business for 3 years inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining

foreclosed homes. I managed the business but I was very hands on. I am

an organized, fast learner, and hard worker. I have 10 years customer

service experience. I also have QA experience.

I spent 2 years managing a mobile home community. I did everything that

was needed included leasing the homes, taking and posting rent

payments, setting up maintenance orders, cleaning and fixing minor

issues, handling disagreements, evictions, and everything else that was

needed. It was a small community with 20 homes for the first year and

then 20 more homes were added. I did that for 2 years and then started

my own business inspecting and maintaining foreclosed homes for banks.

I eventually added in other services such as inspecting commercial

properties and insurance inspections.

I have been doing residential and commercial inspections for 2 years. I

have been doing preservation work for 1 year. I have worked for

national banks such as Chase, Wells Fargo, and BofA. During an

inspection I would basically go into a foreclosed home and document the

condition for the banks. I would from floor to ceiling taking pictures

and notes on the condition of the home. I would then send in all the

info to the bank so they knew what to repair in the home. I also did QC

inspections. These entailed going into the homes after a contractor had

repaired and cleaned it. I would again take pictures and notes but this

time I was making sure they had completed the work as directed.

After doing inspections for one year, I started doing the preservation

work as well. I would go in and bid on repairing and/or cleaning the

house to get it into sale condition.

I also have customer service experience so I know how to deal with

people.

I also do construction inspections, draw inspections, insurance

inspections, audits, and inventory work.

I have also been doing commercial inspections for over a year. I have

done that work at apartment complexes, retail centers, and various

businesses. I would go in and take pictures of the businesses and give

the banks, or who ever was requesting the info, a run down of the

business. I would let them know how many units there were, the

different sizes, the rent amounts for each unit, the amenities, what

kind of competition was in the area, and much more. If it was under

construction I would go back multiple times and let the bank know how

the construction was progressing.

Work Experience

Inspector/Company Owner

M&M Inspections - Longview, TX

August 2010 to Present

I started this company by myself. I originally did just foreclosure

inspections. I started adding in work and had to start hiring people.

Within 2 years I had 10 employees, I had added maintenance services, QA

work, commercial and insurance inspections, and much more. I was doing

work for up to 50 companies.

I was very hands on. I went out and worked everyday and every night I

did the data entry plus uploaded the days pictures. I also got the

routes ready for the next day.

We moved to Houston one year ago and I sold my contracts I had in

Longview. I still do inspections occasionally but not on the scale I

was doing work. I am looking for a full time position and I will either

stop doing inspections or do them around my work schedule. They will in

no way interfere with my new job.

Manager

Mobile Home Community - Longview, TX

January 2008 to June 2010

I managed 2 small mobile home communities. I also lived on site. The

first one had 10 homes the second one had 40 homes. I was the only

employee so I did all the work myself. I leased the homes, collected

rent payments, did evictions, handled disagreements, all office work,

as well as cleaning the homes, grounds, and did minor maintenance. When

homes had problems I could not fix, I hired contractors as well.

Assistant Manager

Mardys Convenience Store - Hallsville, TX

November 2003 to February 2005

I was an assistant manager here which basically just entailed working

weekends, running reports, doing bank deposits on those days, and doing

the schedule for everyone.

Other than that it was basic cashier and customer service work. I ran

the cash register and lotto machine, stocked the store, cleaned inside

and out and helped customers as needed.

Call Center Customer Service

Sitel - Longview, TX

September 1999 to June 2003

I did inbound customer service at a call center. I took calls for

several companies in that time, the biggest ones being AOL and Verizon.

For AOL I did tech support and Verizon it was mainly starting service,

taking payments, and answering questions.

After I had been there about a year and a half I was promoted to the QA

department. That basically entailed listening in on calls to see what

the employee was doing right and/or wrong. I would then go talk to that

employee and let them know what their strong points were and what their

weak points were.

Education

Nursing

Tyler Junior College - Tyler, TX

2005 to 2007

Skills

management, photography, data entry, human resources, inspection, great

customer service skills
