I am enthusiastic, motivated and hard working. I have good organisational skills and am very reliable, with the

my skills and try new ideas. I am a Biochemical Scientist with a background in Technical Analysis (secondary

school). I have been trained in all analysis typology, human analysis of blood and urine for virology, bacteriology,

environment analysis for water, air, and ground pollution. I have been trained in the PCR (Polymerase Chain

Reaction), Western Blotting Technique and also in the Micropropagation of plants.

Internship (200 hours) as "Pharmaceutical Assistant" at Parafarmacia SiroFarma snc – Italy

In my internship as a pharmaceutical assistant, I had the chance to learn technical procedures aimed at promoting

our business and optimize the management of our workload. Medicines arrived at the site, needed labelling,

distributing, coordinating, recording data. I improved my organisational skills. In addition, I was responsible for

receiving, recording and reviewing prescriptions in a timely manner. I acted as a link between our patients, the

pharmacy staff and physicians, to provide the best outcome for the patient.

September 2003 to June 2005

Internship (600 hours) in “Techniques of pollution management and environmental protection” for ENEA

(http://www.enea.it/en) - Italian National Agency for New Technology Energy and Sustainable Economic

Development.

During my internship in the laboratory of ENEA I was involved in performing analysis methods using different

equipment such as centrifuge, spectrophotometer, chromatography techniques. The preparation for each analysis

was carried out with complete transparency to enable immediate viewing by the medical staff, with the help of

databases and computer programs. I gained experience in looking for new ways to make the work easier, solving

emerging problems, having good mental reflexes, to replace the damaged equipment immediately, so as to ensure

the normal course of work.

January 2003 to December 2003

Internship in “Techniques and Materials for Recycling” for IPSSS M Lentini.

During my studies in high school, I started to value accuracy and paying attention to details and quality of the

laboratory work. I have gained better and better manual dexterity and understanding how to follow different

procedures. I completed school projects, attended seminars relating to safe laboratory practices, respect for the

patient, and the confidentiality of the information we have access to. In the course of my college career, during my

internship at the laboratory, I learned good skills as a communicator.

Kitchen Porter at Vincenzo’s Restaurant – Bristol.

My duties in the restaurant are: cleaning the kitchen, washing dishes, checking the goods in the fridge and in

stock, and making sure that everything is in order, checking the inventory and ordering, helping the cook in the

preparation of food, and maintaining perfect order by tidying, cleaning and drying the dishes.

My role as a store assistant is: customer service, sales and cash handing signing up customers for gift aid, sorting

donations, replenishing stock displays, cleaning and tidying shop.

Store Assistant at St Peters’ Hospice –Bristol.

My role as a store assistant is: collecting the clothes, sorting them by size, use and season, steaming, ironing

them and labelling every new dress, then arranging and organizing them in the store, with order and precision.

Volunteering in this shop has improved my people skills and helped me to develop a better understanding of the

retail industry.
