Project Title: DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF PEDAL OPERATED DOUBLE

ACTING RECIPROCATING WATER PUMP

Description: The main aim of this project was to design a water

lifter which is driven by pedaling action. This pedaling action is

converted to reciprocating motion of the pistons inside the cylinders. This

makes device a reciprocating water pump. Pump can be transported to

required place used at the spot effectively. The designed model can be used

for shallow wells, and can be used for drip irrigation.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT

Visited Canara Springs company, Manglore Karnataka (march 2011) learnt

about different manufacturing technics.
