Objective
I am looking for a more challenging and rewarding position in an
engineering field. My goal is to find a career using 3D CAD or Solid
modeling. The perfect position would be to create prints and still
program CNC machinery. I currently use AutoCAD 2012 on a daily basis,
mostly to revise existing 2-dimensional drawings. I am not the type of
person to be content with the same old daily routine. I like to be
challenged to learn different duties and responsibilities and with my
past work history and education I believe I can be an asset to your
company.
Abilities
I have been working with the engineering group for nine years starting
with CNC programming and working my way into helping correcting
drawings and some design work. I am good at working outside the box
and am also good at improving or redesigning a current product to be
more production friendly and cost efficient. I am currently
programming two machines; two dimensional flat panel, which supply a
total of nine production plants. With some special tooling, I have
been able to produce several 3D parts. Prior to that I was in charge
of 20-30 people in the mill room and cabinet build shop, creating work
orders and releasing the inventory used to complete the work orders,
plus review production prints and trouble shooting on the production
line.
Key Skills
Basic Programs: Windows XP PRO, Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel,
Outlook, Access).

AutoCAD 2D and 3D drawing along with some 3D solid modeling using
Inventor.
Ability to draw and program in 2D in AlphaCAM and can convert
3D to 2D in AlphaCAM.
As part of my Associates degree I was required to use word pad to
write programs for both 3D lathe and mill, and used Cimatron software
to program a 3 axis mill.
